Summer Fun on the 101 is a magical mini musical festival taking place just a block from Beacon’s Beach in beautiful Encinitas, California at the Leucadia Roadside Park (860 N. Coast Hwy 101).

SATURDAY JULY 9th 2022 - 11:30am-7pm

      Summer Fun on the 101 was created for locals, featuring local musicians, dreamt up by L101 Board Member Michael Schmitt over 13 years ago. This mini music festival is free and is presented by Leucadia 101 Mainstreet Association in conjunction with the following incredible small business SPONSORS:  Leucadia Beach Inn, The Leucadian Bar, Surf House Hotel, Alila Marea Beach Resort, Local Roots Kombucha and Ballast Point Brewing, School of Rock Encinitas, Peter Curry / Cushman & Wakefield Private Capital Group, and Swell Properties.

There will be a Craft Beer Garden starting at noon, sponsored by Ballast Point Brewing and Local Roots Kombucha. Attendees 21+ will be able to enjoy beer from Ballast Point, as well as Kombucha from Local Roots.

This event is a fundraiser, some monies raised by the event will fund college scholarships for two local San Dieguito Academy High School graduating seniors pursuing musical studies in 2023. To contribute, donate directly to Leucadia 101 Mainstreet via [email protected] or join us for the event and purchase tickets for the opportunity drawing featuring rad prizes from highway 101 businesses such as Leucadian Bar, Bing Surfboards, Vigilucci’s Trattoria Italiana, Choice Juicery, MRKT Space, Fish 101, School of Rock Encinitas and many more.

Beach blankets and beach chairs are encouraged for this event! 

The Leucadia 101 Main Street Association is a nonprofit community-based organization that works in partnership with its neighborhood, business owners, property owners, the City of Encinitas and the County of San Diego to preserve and revitalize the Leucadia North Coast Highway 101 Corridor. Our organization offers a weekly local Sunday Farmer's Market and a variety of free community events each year aimed at creating a unique atmosphere for its residents to explore the community and stimulate the local economy.
