The City of Encinitas and Leucadia 101 Mainstreet have worked hard to provide parking and safe access to the Leucadia 101 Farmers Market located at Paul Ecke Central Elementary School, 185 Union Street. A number of Parking Pods have been installed on Highway 101 as part of the Streetscape Project, and The El Portal Undercrossing provides safe crossing for those who walk, bike, or skate to the market.
The following Parking Pods were installed on Highway 101, providing a total of 35 spots:
- North Court Parking Pod Across from MRKT/Pannikin
- South Parking Pod by Corah Workspace
- Gather/Coastal Animal Parking Pod
- Brisa Pacifica Hotel Parking Pod
There are a variety of additional parking spaces along Highway 101 including spaces in front of:
- Lou’s Records
- 454 Tattoo
- Gold Coast Plaza
Parking at and near the Farmers Market (Paul Ecke) includes:
- School Pick-up Lane on Vulcan Ave. at the Undercrossing
- Vulcan school entrance Parking Lot
- Kindergarten Pick-Up along fence
- Outside Kindergarten on Union St.
- Painted parking spots in front of School Office
- Curb parking along Union St. in front of school. Please do not park on the North side of Union St. near residences, as you’ll be ticketed.
- Teacher Parking Lot near Multi-purpose Room
There is no longer parking available to Market visitors near RCP due to construction. For more information on the Farmers Market, visit leucadiafarmersmarket.com.
