Cyclovia Encinitas Rolls Into Town January 8, 2023

Bring your friends and family to downtown and enjoy Cyclovia Encinitas, presented by Encinitas BCycle/Trek/Electra, Sunday, January 8, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., when South Coast Highway 101 will be closed to cars from D Street to J Street. It’s a great way to get out and explore downtown Encinitas at a different pace by biking, skating, walking or other means of self-powered transportation.
There will be plenty of great shops and dining to check out. Choose from a variety of activities including a bicycle safety rodeo, bike skills course, bike and helmet decorating station, information booths, and more.
Cyclovia Encinitas is a partnership effort between the City of Encinitas, the City’s Environmental Commission and Mobility and Traffic Safety Commission along with other partners. The event promotes mobility and the City’s Climate Action Plan. We encourage you to leave your cars at home to thoroughly enjoy this event.
Cyclovia is an event that is held globally. Locally, events take place in San Diego, Pacific Beach and Chula Vista. Cyclovia Encinitas is the first and only similar open-streets event in North County. For more information visit www.EncinitasCA.gov/Cyclovia.
